Tuesday: Superintendent's Conference Day

Wednesday: Hot Meatball Sandwich, Green Beans, Salad

Thursday: Grilled Hot Dog with/without Meatsauce, Corn on the Cob, Salad

Friday: Hot Ham & Cheese on a Pretzel Roll or Grilled Cheese, Tomato Soup, Salad

  Available daily: Soup du jour, main entree salads, sandwich on a hard roll, variety of homemade cookies, fresh seasonal fruit, choices of milk

 

Comprehensive Tobacco Policy

The HFM BOCES Board of Education recognizes that the use of tobacco in any form poses serious short and long-term health risks to individuals. The Comprehensive Tobacco Policy remains in effect at all times, 24-hours a day, at all school activities on campus and off.

Featured program:
Construction Technology

construction studentsThis is a two-year program for students considering careers in construction. The curriculum meets the New York State Department of Labor and National Construction Curriculum Education and Research apprenticeship training requirements. Successful students may receive one year of apprenticeship training credit for prevailing wage jobs. Articulation agreements are in place with FMCC and SUNY Delhi. Successful students may also receive a NYS Technical Endorsement on their diplomas.

The largest class to graduate from the HFM BOCES Career & Technical Center gathered with family, friends, teachers and staff to celebrate the completion of their studies during a program in their honor in Fulton-Montgomery Community College’s gymnasium on Tuesday, June 22. [more]

Planning for college

What parents can do: Be a partner in their child's progress

When it comes to your child's hopes to continue his education, communication is key. If you haven't had this conversation yet, bring it up, the sooner the better. If he initiates the conversation, be a patient and attentive listener. Ask questions. How much research has he done? Has he talked to his school counselor? Does he have any idea where he wants to go to school? Has he thought about how to pay?
