NEW - Welcome to the BOCES On-Line Application System for Educators (OLAS), serving more than 300 school districts in several regions of New York State. Unless noted otherwise in the job listings below, you will use this system to apply for any HFM BOCES position listed on this page.

NEW - Apprenticeship Teacher - Career and Technical Education  

Available July 1, 2013 - Tenure-track, full-time, 10-month position with up to 20 days over the summer.

The successful candidate will hold or will be eligible for a work-based learning credential. Strong interpersonal skills are needed in order to work successfully with businesses and school district personnel. Experience in the private sector a plus.

NYS certification is required in one of the following areas: English 7-12, Special Education or Technology.

NEW - Curriculum and Instruction Coach - Itinerant Services  

Available July 1, 2013 - Tenure-track, full-time, 10-month position with up to 20 days over the summer.

The successful candidate will have curriculum development experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience working with adult learners and/or providing professional development, in-depth knowledge of effective instructional strategies as well as differentiated instruction, and be well versed in the common core state standards.

NYS certification in English 7-12 or Reading/Literacy and five or more years of teaching experience required.

NEW - Shared Interim Superintendent - Mayfield and Northville Central School Districts  

This 12-month position begins July 1, 2013, and is offered with a very competitive compensation package.

Operations - Full Time Custodial Worker  

This position is a full-time, second shift opportunity.

HFM BOCES Substitute Services

HFM BOCES Substitute Services Office is seeking applications for on-call substitute teachers, school aides, school nurses, clerical, and food service workers for BOCES and area school districts.

  Minimum requirements include:

  • Substitute teacher - 60 college credits

  • Substitute teacher aide - High school diploma or G.E.D.

  • Substitute clerical - High school diploma or G.E.D.
  and clerical experience 

  • Substitute food service - High school diploma or G.E.D.

  • Substitute school nurse - Licensed RN or LPN
