Dr. Michel to
serve as Fonda-Fultonville interim superintendent
JUNE
15, 2012 – After meeting with the Fonda-Fultonville Board
of Education on Thursday, HFM BOCES District Superintendent Dr.
Patrick Michel announced that he agreed to serve as the
Fonda-Fultonville interim superintendent effective July 1. Dr.
Michel will serve at no cost to the district while a search for
a new, full-time superintendent is conducted.
The board is
expected to vote on Dr. Michel's formal appointment when they
meet Monday, June 18.
Dr. Michel will
assume responsibility for the district on July 1, when current
superintendent James Hoffman leaves to assume the superintendent
post at Averill Park Central School District.
