Students enrolled in the Careers in Education program at the HFM Career and Technical Center are currently holding a food drive with collection sites at six local high schools and the HFM Career and Technical Center.
Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected until Nov. 18 in the Careers in Education classroom on the second floor of the CTC. Donations are also being accepted at the Amsterdam, Broadalbin-Perth, Fonda-Fultonville, Fort Plain, OESJ and Wells high schools.
All items collected will be distributed to those in need in the local area.
Please no home canned goods, outdated food, or food without labels.
The HFM Careers in Education program is available to local high school juniors and seniors interested in a career as a teacher or other educational professional. The Teachers of Tomorrow Food Drive is being coordinated by members of the junior class.
