Emergency Conditional Appointments

Occasionally the need will arise where an employee may need to start working prior to their appointment by the Board of Education. In those special circumstances the Board of Education has allowed the District Superintendent to commence employment in advance of their action. Such appointments can be done within 30 days in advance of the next board meeting.

  1. Download and complete the Emergency Conditional and Authorization to Pay Form

  2. Indicate why employment must commence in advance of BOE approval (student supervision, program continuity, etc.)

  3. Obtain approvals as indicated on the form

  4. This form must also accompany the Personnel Action Form

  5. No offers for employment, including start date, salary, etc., should be made until which time you have received approval.
