During the 2020-21 academic year, 15 HFM PTECH students met the requirements to be inducted into Fulton Montgomery Community College’s academic fraternity, the Alpha Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
To be eligible, the students must have completed at least 12 hours of coursework toward their associate degree and have a grade point average of 3.5.

After being inducted, the students can become full-fledged Phi Theta Kappa members. Members can seek leadership positions in their local chapters, their regions, or on the international level, which bolsters their resume and provides leadership experience and professional development.
Students who became official members are Colby Agerter, James Burns, Aurora Morley, Kaidince Nellis, Nicole Quillan, Frank Alvarez and Angelo Fatta.
