HFM PTECH senior Nadia Payan has been named a 2018-19 Outstanding Business Student of the Year by the Capital Region Business and Marketing Educators’ Association.

Payan, along with other selected students from the Capital Region, was honored at the annual student recognition dinner May 2 at the Century House in Latham.
Following her nomination for the award by PTECH staff, Payan was required to submit a 500-word essay and two teacher recommendations to be considered for the award.
Payan is completing the PTECH program this spring, earning her high school diploma and her associate degree in Business Marketing from Fulton Montgomery Community College simultaneously. She plans to attend the College of St. Rose in the fall as an English major.
